• Fantastic lectures and great explanations of the course materials! Always goes along well with the book but doesn't repeat too much, she always helps me understand the material better. Also very understanding and makes herself very available for students and feedback. Definitely a great experience in her class this summer!

• Her lectures are very informative and provide both new information and a good summary of the other material for the day. I also appreciate that she is fostering an environment where discussion is encouraged between students to help us learn more.

• I love how this instructor promptly replies to emails and is very easy to communicate with. She is always presenting several resources for us to understand the expectations and I really appreciate that.

• She does a great job providing resources to help us on understanding the materials. She also does a great job on describing the materials through the lectures.

• I really, really liked this class! Thorough lectures, engaging assignments. I especially liked having the polls at the end of the week because it made me process what I had learned.

• I loved this class and felt like I learned so much from it! it opened my eyes to a lot of current issues. The consistent weekly structure of the class was amazing, as was splitting up the GEP into a course of shorter weekly tasks instead of a huge project at the end. Additionally, quizzes were always very fair and covered the relevant things from the reading and notes, and I never had an issue with the time limit - twenty minutes was very appropriate.

• The course materials you selected for this class are very relevant and entertaining. It was great so have an instructor go the extra mile and put in a great level of attention to a course. The interviews you conducted with people in certain areas of law were awesome.

• Professor Felder is incredible. She as incredibly helpful with any questions, clearly showed us what was expected, and really pushed us as students to be more proactive in our learning of the topics within the course. I really enjoyed the uploading of voice-over PowerPoints, I felt like they were easy to follow along to and made the understanding of concepts a easier as opposed to just putting up the slides and not talking over them. I also really enjoyed the breakdown of work each week, consisting of multiple things to help further our understanding. This included things like quizzes, breaking down the GDP project, and discussion responses.

• Amazing organization within the course helped me feel very relieved compared to my other courses that weren't so organized. Explains concepts very well in lecture materials. Very open and quick to answer any and all questions. I really enjoyed this class and am thankful I got to have such a great instructor. I hope she knows that she did a great job.

• Professor Felder went above and beyond in this difficult semester to make sure that all students understood her materials and enjoyed the class. I really enjoyed her weekly reminders on what is due and her upbeat attitude in lectures! I really enjoy that she made adjustments to her course after the midpoint survey. The guided notes that were provided were very helpful and I hope she continues to do them in this online format.

• This was by far the most organized class I took this semester. The weekly modules are clear and concise as well as the material for each day. I really appreciate the time you spent on organizing it all for us because it seems like it took a long time to put together.

• You gave very informative and captivating lectures. I enjoyed the interviews, movies, and lectures.

• I appreciate that although this is a fully online class, you still make it interactive. Also, I really appreciate you emailing us each time before assignments are due. Since this class is asynchronous, it can be very easy to overlook homework assignments. Your emails are my double-check that I am on track and succeeding in this class. I also like how you are so open to feedback as well as helping your students; This is what motivates us, when our professors are kind and understanding during the course of the semester.

• I had a wonderful time in this class. The professor was open to questions outside of class and we had several discussions which was awesome. Talking to one another is an important part of poli sci in my opinion. The class was well organized, and the material was very specific and informative.

• I liked that all of the assignments were posted well before they were due. Everything was very organized and it was apparent that you did not struggle with brightspace. I also liked the interviews. Its nice to see that the things we are talking about have real employees and that it could be me or one of my classmates in the future giving one of these talks.

• The Guided Notes were EXTREMELY helpful in my completion of the course. I never know what I need to take notes on and having those made it very clear what was important to know in relation to course material. Having the simulation mini papers due in advance was good because they were easier to tackle and then utilize for the completion of the team paper and simulation.

• I think that Ms. Felder does an excellent job preparing thorough content for this class. I appreciate the variety of content that she utilized such as lecture videos, readings, articles, documentaries, and other videos. I also liked how she emailed us frequently to make sure we knew when all the due dates were. She is a fair grader and I never felt overwhelmed by the work load presented in this class. Lastly, I admired the amount of effort that she put into this class overall because it showed how much she truly cared about what she was teaching and her students.

• As someone who was very skeptical of the idea of the simulation for awhile, I do believe that it was very beneficial. It not only helped me to learn how the ICPDR operates, but also how countries and the Expert Groups come together to create engaging and beneficial plans. I will say this is probably the most unique course I have taken and it fully succeeds in its goals. Very pleased with the experience.
